Who am I? It isn’t really important. All you really need to know is that I am in my 20’s, I am happily married, I have two dogs and I am studying to be a teacher. I am so passionate about the early years of life as it is vital to the development of self-regulation and social abilities. I have been practicing yoga for three years and it has made a profound difference in my life.
I am nearly finished my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and I am a kindergarten teacher. The kindergarten that I work at is so supportive of my view on education and the ways that I help to improve their already fantastic program.
After reading Kara-Leah Grant’s book “40 days of yoga” I was beyond excited to introduce my beautiful kindy cherubs to the wonder of yoga. It wasn’t an easy task, but I am proud to say that they have adopted the practice and are now asking me to do our daily sun salutation.
This blog is a way for me to record the tactics that work, how Yoga can leak into other areas of our lives and why I believe it is so important. It is also to track my progress as a teacher and as a yogi. I am so proud of the wonderful life I lead, and I could say that I am just showing off!
